MORNING WORSHIP AND CHILDREN'S CHURCH - SEPTEMBER 17, 2023

This Sunday, Pastor Brian Pinson will bring to a close the expositional sermon series "THE CHRISTIAN'S PRAYER LIFE" with Part V, from the text in Ephesians 6:18-20.  The focus this week will be that "Prayer must be all-encompassing".  There are three elemental truths about this prayer characteristic.  Last week, we learned that we are called to ask and seek God for specific answers, and that when we pray, we are to pray with alertness and with perseverance.  This week, we will hear about the third elemental truth:  We are called to pray for one another.  Ephesians 6:18-19 tells us in the Apostle Paul's words that we are to pray, "...making supplication for all the saints, and also for me..."  As believers, we are part of the Body of Christ - His Church - and as such we are to pray for one another.  We encourage you - believers and non-believers - to join us this Sunday, in person or online via Facebook, to discover more about the power of prayer in a Christian's life.  Effective prayer enables us to strengthen our relationship with our Lord and to stand strong against the darkness of this world.  Come join us!  Everyone is welcome!
