Greetings from Pastor Brian !
Well 2012 has arrived, along with it's many challenges and victories that await us. As we have turned the pages of 2011, we'll not soon forget the many loved ones of Calvary Baptist Church who went home to be with our Lord. Nor will we forget the wonderful moments of laughter during VBS, and also during our 1st Annual Fall Festival. I invite you to visit the many pages of our website, and as you do, I believe it will become apparent how active God is, here at Calvary. We are so thankful that His Spirit is continually guiding us into deeper relationships with Him.
During the last 4-6 weeks of 2011, I began searching and listening for God's direction for CBC for the year 2012. Our first Sunday of the New Year, we put this direction into focus, that being "Prescriptions for Godly Growth". God teaches us throughout His enitre Word, that growth in the life of a disciple of Christ is not an option, but a decree, a command. As we mature in Christ, those "rocky mountains" turn into hills, and the many "turbulent rivers" turn into streams. In other words, God increases our capacity, through trials, to strengthen our faith and trust in His sovereign work within our lives.
As we face these challenges, we can do so with strength and courage, and not with weakness and dismay. God is longing to take each of His children into uncharted territory, to expand our capacity to serve Him.

- Sunday School begins at 9 AM CST
- Worship Service begins at 10:30 AM CST
- Our Wednesday Night Bible Study begins at 6:30 PM CST
- Also, we are beginning our Youth Group study on Wednesday nights, during the Bible Study hour.
